Welcome to Kindergarten!  

I am Allan L. Agbay, and I teach because I want to empower others to find the leaders within themselves.  I will be one of the Kindergarten teachers this year. This will be my 26th year of teaching in the Chicago Public Schools, and my 21st year at Locke School.

I graduated from Saint Olaf College double majoring in English and Psychology, and then went on to obtain my Master of Education (Curriculum and Instruction) and Master of Education (Educational Leadership/Type75) from the University of Illinois in Chicago and the American College of Education. I am also endorsed in ESL.

I enjoy reading, watching movies, watching mixed martial arts, biking, running, and lifting weights.  In addition, I also enjoy collecting watches!

It is an honor being your child's teacher this year, and I would like to thank you in advance for your support and your hard work in promoting the passion for life-long learning!
